Environmental and Sustainability Studies

The Environmental and Sustainability Studies minor offers an interdisciplinary approach to environmental and sustainability issues that goes beyond a traditional engineering major program.

Six courses are required, with offerings from a wide range of disciplines, including architecture, business, engineering and public policy, English, history, and philosophy.

Global Engineering

Carnegie Mellon is an international community. The Global Engineering minor expands your horizons and allows you to apply your studies on a global scale. Courses are designed to increase global awareness and international experiences.

Requirements include coursework in international management, ethics, and modern language, as well as a study or work abroad experience.

Integrative Design, Arts, and Technology (IDeATe)

CEE students also have the opportunity to pursue a minor within the Integrative Design, Arts, and Technology (IDeATe) program. This unique opportunity merges technology and creativity to provide learning opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration.
